Please, take those pieces of fishing line and kite string with you,
and cut them up before putting them into the trash –

Councilwoman Caitlin Donovan has obtained new information about the Zoning/Floodzone/Building Height regulations from the NJ DEP that were discussed at the last council meeting, previously scheduled to go into effect July, 2026. It is known as the Resilient Environments and Landscapes, or REAL, originally set in place by Governor Murphy. These have now been pushed back a year by Governor Sherrill.
Listen to Zoning Board Chairperson Mark Fitzgerald read a statement about this at the beginning of the meeting.
Both applications were approved.

Thank you for your Years of Service to Belmar.
And Best Wishes for the Future.
