Mr D loves the public school system. It warms my heart to see a citizen so concerned about the importance of education. Thank you for your service, Mr Dil.
It’s great to know that you know that a strong public school has a positive impact on the entire community.
Not against “schools” up to about 6th-7th grade. But after that, the entire edifice of public education should be eliminated. It is long obsolete and doesn’t serve the taxpayers or the young men and women who attend them.
#4 you ever go to a doctor? They need to be educated past the 7th grade.
You ever walk your sandwich board over a bridge? Engineers need to be educated past 7th grade.
I could go on and on but it’s probably futile.
Your disdain for higher education is evident in your inability for form a compelling argument.
The concept of education in this country is obsolete. Time to move on from this type of education. It was set up in the late 19th century for an entirely different sort of student. It doesn’t serve these students or taxpayers in the 21st century.
It seems as though the education system you want to install would be great for the 18th or 19th centuries. It’s the modern one you are opposed to. Education practices change to try and meet the new demands. It’s different now than when I was a kid and it’s different now than when you were a kid. It is far from perfect but it is what we have. We need to educate millions of children and there needs to be standards. Otherwise we lose to other industrialized countries. Making girls sew or having boys climb trees is rich with nostalgia, but it’s not education. Having children partake in the activities that you approve of is the job of the parent. Not the state.
watt’a bunch of horse manure/lies…
Lake Como?
You mean Huismanville!
