I know right? Imagine a staff member of a politician getting into lobbying. Oh wait, that’s what every single one of them do. How is this news?
There was an executive order passed under Trump that banned White House staff from working for lobbyists for five years after leaving their position. And, true to form, Trump revoked the law on the final day of his presidency. So that his entire staff could immediately go and work for lobbyists. I guess ‘’draining the swamp’ was someone else’s job.
But yea, let’s all be mad at Murphy. I honestly wish there was a pill that could cure hypocrisy.
