Traffic on Rt 35 will even more of a nightmare than it already is. We don’t have the services to support such a huge complex. And there will only be 1 parking spot per unit and it the height is above the regulation.
Not 1 parking spot per unit, each unit will be able to park 1 vehicle and 60% of another vehicle. So if they have it professionally chopped down to 60% of it’s original occupying space (rendering it totaled and unusable) it will be able to fit into that .6 parking spot each unit is additionally given. Problem solved. Duh.
This would definitely take away from any sense of small town charm that people feel. It won’t completely be taken away but a little bit for sure. Ask yourself this: after that development, what next? Borough Council would be more willing to consider future proposals that would one day add to the town, obliterate the small town charm and further add to the traffic.

The Marina Tower condos are right across the street from the proposed apartments appear to be full and selling briskly.
I hope the town plans to fund emergency services to protect all these new buildings and people.
